I love that this set comes with a ton of pieces, and also that the lids are universal size so you don't have to rummage around to find the correct one. The containers can store a huge variety of foods or pantry items, and are microwave and dishwasher safe. I would say the overall quality of the plastic is on the lower end however, they feel pretty flimsy and while unpacking, the lip on one container broke just trying to separate the items. From reading online, the residue is likely from metal polish I wish the manufacturer did a better job removing this before shipping. Aside from that, I’m very happy with them. I really like these containers. They are a good size for mostly snackscrackercereal. They aren’t super tall but they do hold a lot. I like the lid top that pops open for pouring, the only thing is that the circle does not allow much to come out at once. I usually just have to pop off the whole lid top pour anything out. Mary.
