This thing is great! And proper borosilicate glass, unlike "Pyrex" which is a now meaningless brand. I put it in the freezer, then poured boiling water into it to test it, and it holds together like a charm. Nice, solid, and thick (I'm surprised someone else said it being heavy was a bad thing - I think it's great and more durable).
