I have been going back and forth between stainless and marble for quite some time. I finally decided on the stainless and I am SO glad I did!! This rolling pin has some weight to it and it rolls SO smoothly! (to me both signs of a good quality product!). I always make my own pie crust and the biggest problem I have is that the dough gets too warm too quick. With this rolling pin, you can pop it in the freezer for a bit and it will stay cold for quite some time! (More than enough time to roll out the dough!) I am pleased with my purchase. Of course an injector is the best method used to get the herbsspices and juiciness deep into the meats, but this device is great.
