The size of these are great, not too small or overly large. The salt one is a shaker though, not a grinder like the pepper. I was a little disappointed in that. Also, the slat shaker has a little PLASTIC lever to open close the pour spout. This can be annoying at times because it does not always move easily and feels as though it will break.
