These are really nice. I found it hard to find exactly what I needed, and this was as close as I could get. Even though I love them, I feel they are a bit large for a nightstand. Packaging 1010 very well packed it even came with a white gloves and instructions in a fancy envelope. Color 1010exact as photo both are an identical match to each other. I love these lamps. I am not a "modern" furniture lover, but these go great in my transitional house. I wanted bedside lamps that were high enought to give off enough light to read by as I read every night. There is a shorter version but I tried out another lamp I had the same size and found it was not tall enough to read by. Although I loved this lamp when I saw it online, it didn't come quite as pictured. The dark gray highlights on the base design came much much smaller, and the lamp appears very white.
