This is a very soft rug! I like that it is thick enough that I can vacuum it without it getting sucked up but thin enough that it is easy to move around. This is a beautiful rug! It seems to be pretty well-made and durable. We didn't have much time to lay it out before the bed came due to renovations being done, but I put a few heavier items along the edges for 2 hours or so, and they stopped curling pretty quickly. They haven't really curled up since, though we will stick some double-sided carpet tape down eventually, just to eliminate the possibility of catching a foot under the edge and tripping. As you can see in these pictures, the full rug looks great.
