This animal cage features a metal frame with a wooden ramp and edge barriers. Measuring 27.6"L x 20"W x 55.2"H, the critter nation cage is constructed from solid fir wood and heavy-duty galvanized wire mesh. The five-level design offers ample space for exploration and climbing, and includes a small resting house. It is equipped with a deeper, leak-proof plastic tray that can be pulled out from the front and back and features a lock to prevent escapes. The metal wire mesh top and a visible front door provide good ventilation, allow for easy observation, and facilitate catching pets. This cage is suitable for a variety of small animals including ferrets, chinchillas, rats, squirrels, and sugar gliders, and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it. I bought this gorgeous cage for our budgie. It’s perfect for a small bird. I don’t recommend for the larger and stronger birds because the wires are thin and could be possibly bent. I also would not recommend it for finches due to the bar spacing and the possibility of their tiny heads getting stuck. As another reviewer stated, it’s not a shiny silver, but great. It does appear silver in the light. I love the transparent base that allows me to see my bird even when he’s in the bottom. This cage would be large enough for a pair of parakeets. I purchased the black stand elsewhere because Wayfair only had it in white. It’s easy to assemble with no tools needed. The only improvement I can see is for the manufacturer to as another door on a lower level. The one door is up high. It’s a great cage for the money and looks absolutely gorgeous in our new home.. This cage is very sturdy and has held up well. The top attaches securely to the bottom and I like how deep the bottom part is.
