This piece is beautiful. The oak is furniture grade with clear grain. The joinery is tight. The brass hardware is nice and the finish keeps the natural look of the wood while still gleaming. The glass does rattle, but that is an easy fix. It was packed well and had no damage despite the outside of the box being beat up. The construction of the drawers is of a very soft wood, and the drawer bottoms are an odd split panel that I’m not a fan off (will be difficult to keep clean). Overall this was perfect for the space in our room. It is lightweight. It is real wood but it is pine and very scented. I actually have left my window open all day to get rid of some of the smell since it is so strong. Super easy to put together. Fits my 40 inch TV and Xbox perfectly fine.
