This is a great comforter, especially for the price. It’s very soft. My daughter loves to lie on it and my dogs, (one in particular) don’t want to get out of bed. My last comforter lasted 18 years. I don’t expect this one to have that longevity, but I’ll keep it. The only things that could be better is that I wish it was a few inches wider to cover the mattress and the box spring, and I wish it was the same color on both sides so I could flip it over and use either side.. Very soft and plush. It did well in my washing machine. Aside from one part that looked like it got burnt or something.. but when I put some Shout stain remover it seemed to get rid of the burnt stuff.. but anyway so far I love this comforter. My body temp runs hot but I slept like a baby with this comforter. I didn’t wake up feeling hot or sweaty like I normally do. The comforter looks like the photo. It is very pretty. It is a little thinner than I thought it would be. I did wash it before using, gentle cycle. Some reviews said that it fell apart after washing, it did NOT do that, it was just fine. The material is not soft though. It is a little “crispy” feeling, but that may soften up in time. What makes this Coma Inducer even more impressive is that we didn't use just any filling. We used Grade A polyester, with a blown in technique to create a down alternative feel. Each square is like an over-filled squishy plush stuffed animal. We then coupled this THICK high quality filling with an outer ultra cozy plush that has a hand feel like petting the fluffiest cloud or a cuddly dog that had one too many meals.
