So I actually love this chair. I am 5'2" and a long time criss cross applesauce sitter. I have another desk chair that's wide seated to account for that. But like most other adults in their mid-forties, my neck and shoulders (and body) are killing me by the end of my work day. I wanted to test something out that would be better ergonomically, and after just a minute of sitting, I could feel a difference in my posture and neck. I did paint my seats bc black was the only option when I ordered, and the blue looks so nice with my space and the cushions are still nice and soft. Only reason I deducted a star was bc I was not provided with the right hardware pack. For some reason, the strips that go under the legs were missing, and in its place, some screws and connectors. Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA.
