Love this bed! The build took about four hours and the instructions were very easy to follow. If you have basic tools, I definitely recommend using them to make assembly smoother. It feels very sturdy and the wood quality is solid. It did surprise me how low it sits to the ground, but I actually like the sleek look now. It makes my room feel more open and modern. I have the king size in alabaster, and we love it! We needed something low profile because our room is vaulted and we were considering placing it on the short side walls. Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. The bed looks exactly as pictured online. Assembly is tedious intakes quite some time. One thing to note is the shelf on either side is not actually Wood. It is some type of hard material but it is covered with a padded vinyl wood grain look. I thought at first the pictures portrayed this bed a bit tallerbigger than it actually was.. but I realized my box springs for my bed are huge and if they were a few inches shorter, it would be perfect. You don’t need box springs, but I’d prefer not to crawl off the floor in the morning. The upholstery is soooooooo soft and the finishes aren’t like, the most pristinely installed… but I think you come to give and take some in some areas when you pay a good price for a bed frame. Beautiful bed frame! Works perfectly for my space and matches dressers that I also bought through Wayfair! It is a bit big for my king mattress and can be hard putting the sheets on.
