Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. I would have loved to give this bed 5 stars, but for two reasons I could not. First, the legs are not even. I followed the directions to a T and there is definitely uneven legs. I recently purchased the Ophelia Solid Wood Platform Bed in the Chalk finish (King size) and I couldn’t be happier. This bed is everything I wanted and more.
