This is interesting. You literally have to fill it with air (either outside and let the air flow in or run with it to gather air). Once you do, you can clamp it down and then use it. This beach chair is huge!! I love that I can stretch out and my hips don’t feel confined in it. I also love that it has several different positions and has a small cooler in the back. The backpack part was a bit complicated to figure out but once you do, it’s great. It is slightly large and bulky so it’s not as easy to carry as I would prefer. Still a wonderful beach chair Though!
