The table set is beautiful. It doesn’t have all the color variations that I thought it would but the dark brown works in our space. We have a pretty small lanai under roof so I am very happy I did the oval table versus a rectangle one. The only thing I wish were better were the chairs, as they’re a bit on the small side. Better quality than we expected except one swivel is kind of tight but I am SO happy I found this set with all 8 chairs that rock and swivel. The table seats 6 better than 8. When we seat 8 we put 2 chairs on the ends and keep them all equidistant. It really doesn't work to seat people as shown in the photo because the table isn't long enough. Beautiful wood table with padded cushion. Cushions are firm initially but soften once they have been used. Building the furniture, there were a few pieces that needed a hole to be completely drilled. The table was easy and quick to build. The chairs took a little bit more time. Directions were very clear on how to build. Once the furniture is together, it feels very strongsolid. This is a very nice looking, sturdy set. Chairs are very comfortable. Assembly was moderate but was completely assembled within 1 12 hours. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the table and 1 chair had a few scuff marks when it arrived. Editing 6 years later: The set has held up really really well! We cover it from November to May (Long Island). This year when we uncovered it, we discovered that the rattan loops on 5 of the 6 chairs have broken and the tops are starting to "unweave". My guess is we may get this summer out of the chairs but will eventually have to be trashed. Customer service says this is normal wear due to use and exposure and falls outside their standard warranty. I will keep the 4 star review since we did get 6 very good years of use. A very comfortable outdoor chair. I love the height of the back, especially because so many of the outdoor dining chairs were hitting my husband under his shoulder blades and he found them very uncomfortable. The assembly took two of us right around 15 or 20 minutes. The back and seat is a wood composite material and not metal which I was happy to discover. The only thing I don’t love about them is that the screw backs are visible on the seat back. The way I have them pleased. I don’t really see the seatbacks but honestly, it’s something that would bother me if I was looking at the seatbacks.
