I have been looking for a dining room light that felt right for my craftsman home for some time, without being the typical craftsman design. This light ticked all the boxes. It’s simplistic, rustic and has that hand crafted look. I feel the price is very good and the quality of construction is excellent. I’m so happy with this purchase. It was tricky to install, and I have to admit that I almost called an electrician because of the size of it. Really nice drum shade light that really accents a dining room or living room. The color combination is really nice to add color to a plain space. The mercury colored glass also adds to the look at night time, adds some added contrast. Wanted to find a smaller black metal pendant type light for a hallway with limited space. This fixture does the trick. My house was built in 1951, so this light works in the space.
