A simple, classic style, the Glenn 300 Watt Floor Lamp is easily placed into a variety of décor and spaces. A matte black finished pole extends into a frosted plastic bowl shade that reveals a beautiful glow when lit. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provide approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (a high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.

The base of the first light I ordered was damaged. The concrete under the chrome which is the weight of the base started breaking off and there was a bunch of grey sand in the plastic packaging. Wayfair was on it though. They sent out another and accept for a few small scratches on the base, a slight lean, and some resistance when turning the switch, the lamp looks great!
