Sturdy bed that’s well packaged and well made. Simple enough to put together and and comes with detailed instructions. Once fully assembled the bed sits fairly low without a boxspring, however it would probably be better with a boxspring to raise the height otherwise it’s perfect. beautiful bed frame! did not take long to put together. instructions were clear and the items were well packed and protected when arrived. it also was delivered super quick, which was nice. we also got our mattress from wayfair as well. this is how it looks with a 14inch king mattress on it! OMG I’m obsessed. I have a 14 inch Queen mattress and I was worried it would cover the headboard with pillows placed. It didn’t. Still plenty of headboard seen. I bought the Natural color. It’s so pretty and clean looking. It was more grey than beige, but it ended up looking great. No regrets. Looks way more expensive than it was. Only downside were there weren’t enough slats provided so when the mattress went down it would sink in the most dense part of the body so I needed to take my two slat boards from my old bed and place them on top of the new frame’s slats.. I really like this bed! Delivered by FedEx in one large heavy box, very hard to carry without additional help. The unboxing was smooth aside from there being no instructions included. We were able to find ins instructions for this item online with a bit of searching. I put it together with help from one other person. Would have been more difficult to do alone. Took us about 2 hours or so. The quality is nice and I like the way it looks (just as pictured). I got the queen size in color Ivory Canvas. I have a 12” mattress that works really with the height of the headboard. My biggest complaint is that it says the space beneath the bed is 5-6” but it’s more like 3” so none of my under bed storage fits. Overall would recommend this product to others!. Anonymous. I was looking for an incredibly specific bed tall but not too tall headboard, beigeoatmeal color, and lift storage with enough depth to fit suitcases and so I didn’t have to see the items underneath (apartment living, amiright!) this fit the bill from the pictures and since I move a lot, I really didn’t want to spend too much. I was worried about the khaki color being too dark from other reviews, but in my opinion it’s perfect and doesn’t appear too dark. Now putting this thing together was a whole ordeal. I have put many beds together and this took me 4 hours and after all that, I couldn’t get the lift mechanism to work (the main reason I bought it). I then caved and scheduled professional assembly because I really loved the look. They spent maybe 5 minutes to insta the hydraulic lift. It now works perfectly, does not squeak, and can lift my 16 inch mattress and stay up. I agree with other reviews that you have to remove your beddingcomforter to lift as it does add more weight than you think. The best part both my carry-on and bigger suitcases fit underneath so this will definitely hide other things nicely. I was a little worried from reading some reviews, but I am so happy that I took a chance, the wood was all perfect, I had everything I needed. The velvet feels very soft and luxurious and the material is made easy to clean. This bed doesn’t require a box spring However, if you’re not looking for a low profile look with the mattress then a box spring is needed. This bed is super easy to set up and is very strong and durable. I really love that this bed was not tufted velvet like the others but pleated velvet instead.
