I love it! I think it is definitely a piece that requires two people to assemble. I did it by myself and it was quite the feat, taking 3-4 hours. I think if I had another set of hands, it would have been a much quicker process. I bought this as a TV stand for our new living room last year. We have nice big windows and once we assembled it, we realized we didn’t want to block the whole window with a TV. So we decided to mount the TV on the wall and we use this to display these handmaid barns my father made our daughter many years ago. Quality construction and well built. The drawers are actually drop down doors and there is only 3 on the shorter version that I purchased not 4 as stated in description. I’m actually liking the drop down doors better than drawers as it maximizing space inside a small compartment and the door hinges and soft close hardware are quality upgrades. Fully assembled was exactly that … open the box and hang the unit. Well packaged with plenty of protection from the rigors of shipping … and they got it out for delivery in very short order. I am extremely impressed with this TV stand. The expandable design is one of the best features because it gave me flexibility to fit my space perfectly while still looking custom and high-end. I have a large TV, and it easily supports it while keeping the setup balanced and modern. The drawers provide a surprising amount of storage and help keep everything organized and clutter-free. The stainless steel base gives it a luxury designer look that honestly makes it look much more expensive than it is. I also really like the mid-century contemporary style because it works well with almost any decor. Assembly took some time, but the instructions were straightforward and the final result was worth it. It looks like the picture, it took around 2 hours I think.. for me to build it, I love it, no problems, only thing I was confused about was the sliding doors have little pieces at the bottom that can pop off. they can easily be popped back on.
