[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didnt expect to love this saucepan this much, but this 8" 3qt one really surprised me in the best way. First off, its gorgeous. The copper exterior gives it such warm, elevated look that honestly makes my whole stovetop feel more high-end. It's one of those pieces you don't feel like hiding away in a cabinet. Beyond looks, it performs really well. It heats up evenly and holds temperature nicely, which makes cooking sauces or reheating food feel much controlled (no random hot spots). The size is also super practical, perfect for everyday use without feeling bulky. The handle feels sturdy and comfortable, and overall it just gives that "quality" vibe when you are using it. It's a great mix of style and function. If you are someone who appreciates cookware that looks as good as it works, this one is definitely worth it.. Patriciar. Tue Apr 21 2026

High Performance: Made with a 2.0mm tri-ply alloy. The exterior consists of 20% 18/10 stainless steel, with a 64% aluminum core and 16% interior 18/10 stainless steel. Aluminum provides excellent heat conductivity, while the 18/10 stainless steel interior is durable, non-reactive, and ideal for all cooking activities. It heats up and cools down quickly, offering superior cooking control. Polished Stainless Steel Exterior: Cast stainless steel handles stay cool during use. Each piece features pouring rims. Versatile: Suitable for all types of cooking surfaces, including gas, electric, induction, halogen stovetops, and in the oven. Care: Avoid using high heat for extended periods. Do not leave an empty pan on a hot burner for long. For items that are not dishwasher-safe, do not use them in the dishwasher. Do not use metal utensils on the non-stick surface. Avoid using scouring pads, steel wool, abrasive cleaners, bleach, or oven cleaners, as these can scratch or damage your cookware. Misuse will void your warranty. Bleach will damage the stainless steel interior and should not be used on any Mauviel cookware. Dishwasher Safe: Our products have excellent conductivity, so cooktop controls should not be set to their maximum heating power; use them at about 60% capacity, which is level 6 on a scale of 10.

The shallow but spacious Rondeau maximizes searing potential for delicious one-pan meals and easy stove-to-oven braising. Chefs love the Italian-made Rondeau. With increased surface area comes less overlapping of ingredients, providing more of the caramelizing heat contact that adds depth of flavor. Once you’ve rendered the fat from the protein of choice, you’re free to sauté, braise, and reduce all in the same Rondeau—a one pan meal at its finest. Crafted in Italy, the Stainless Clad Rondeau is constructed from 5 layers of metals for improved heat conduction and distribution. Because it prevents the hot spots that lead to stuck-on messes, the 5-ply construction also cleans up in seconds. Its rolled rim allows you to pthe without spilling, and two looped handles make transport from stove to oven to table a breeze.

This pan is huge and really good quality. I cooked pancakes it, and they didn’t stick. It worked better than my nonstick pan.. Michael. Houston, TX. Wed Sep 23 2026

Prized by professional chefs and home cooks alike, the 13-Piece Tri-Ply Copper Cookware Set from Viking serves up superior performance paired with a beautiful, real copper exterior finish. Unlike some competitor cookware sets, the Viking 13-Piece Tri-Ply Copper Cookware set is made from real copper. Because of this, your professional cookware set will show color variations caused by heat, marks from fingerprints, and will develop a rich patina over time. These natural cosmetic changes to the copper will not affect its cooking performance. Easily keep your cookware set looking like new with a copper polish such as PennyBrite by EZ Brite or with a mixture of lemon and salt. Make pre-heating pans a thing of the past! Due to its high thermal conductivity, you’ll achieve perfectly uniform heating and unrivaled temperature control. Your copper cookware will not only heat up quickly, but it cools quickly as well, making it the perfect companion for cooks seeking precision and control in their cooking. That's why saucier’s and confectionerie’s prize copper cookware to handle these delicate tasks. When it comes to cooking with copper cookware, keep your heat low to moderate and let the pan do the rest! Featuring a durable 18/8 stainless steel interior, you'll never have to worry about copper or other metals leaching into your food. The aluminum-alloy core found in the Viking 13-piece Tri-Ply Copper Cookware set evenly transfers heat from rim-to-rim, eliminating hot spots and giving you the perfect sear each and every time. These metals distribute heat more evenly across the pan while also maintaining a higher cooking temperature, even while cooking on low-to-medium heat. Ergonomic handles reduce pressure on your wrists and ensure a comfortable grip. Vented, tempered glass lids help prevent boilovers and allow you to monitor progress without losing heat. The vented glass lids also provide stability on the pan, eliminating wobbling as steam builds up in the pan. The non-porous inner layer of stainless steel makes it easy to clean and sanitize yet it is non-reactive so there is no etching or interaction with acidic sauces or other ingredients ensuring that the cookware does not impact the flavor of your dish. The set also includes a single-ply stainless steel pasta insert that fits the 8-qt. stockpot, turning it into a multi-purpose pasta cooker. The pasta strainer allows you to cook and strain the pasta with the same insert, eliminating the need to use a separate colander or strainer. By removing the pasta directly from the stockpot, it allows you to save the water for finishing the perfect sauce just like professional chefs do. Keep the exterior of your cookware looking new by cooking only on low-to-medium temperatures and by regularly wiping it with a copper polish or by using a combination of lemon and salt. Washing your cookware by hand after each use and drying by hand as well will also help to keep its color uniform. It is recommended to store your cookware in a dry location. Mauviel is the leading cookware manufacturer for professional and household chefs throughout the world.

Le Creuset’s braiser is crafted from our legendary enameled cast iron and is uniquely designed to provide steady, even heat to transform tough cuts of meat and hearty vegetables into tender, flavorful dishes. The wide base allows ingredients to be placed in a single layer for searing without crowding; once the liquid is added, the heavy lid circulates steam to lock in moisture and flavor. Durable and easy to clean, the versatile shape of the braiser also makes it perfect for sautéing, shallow frying, steaming, casseroles, and serving dishes at the table – the ideal pan for every day.

The braiser itself if great, but why not pack it better I had both original and replacement items damaged the exact same way a lid rim was scratched against the base part of the pan. Adding some more of cardboard would solve the problem.. Anonymous. Fri Mar 13 2026
