The instructions were very clear and I found the video to be clear and provided a quick and brief overview. I wish the video was a little slower in showing all the actual connections but I was able to figure it out after about 5-10 min of looking it over and pausing the video. That was the only thing that was vague. Putting it up was challenging for me just because holding it up and connecting everything with jello arms is hard lol . Thus far it appears worth the cost. Enjoy! First let me say I love the fountain. Beautiful and as picture. With this being the case, it's been a very frustrating process for me. As I eagerly awaited the fountains arrival, it was finally here and upon unpacking realized it was missing the pump. Contacted Wayfair which was an overall pleasant experience. I packed it up because waiting for the part would take longer than just swapping the unit. The second unit arrives with no light. I am sure you can imagine my disappointment. I ordered on May 26th and still can't assemble. I have no idea when the light will arrive. 5 stars on beauty of the fountain 1 star based on the headache and lack of quality control makes this not so cheap purchase and overall 3. Love this fountain! Could use better instructions so I’m adding a few tips about installation 1. Only one cord comes out of the bottom (drawing showed 2) 2. Warm plastic tube w a hair dryer to soften it for insertion 3. There is a (mostly) round plastic cap that should be placed over the reservoir tube (once you’ve snaked the power cord thru) to protect the plug from water. 4. Would recommend putting fountain together indoors. It’s tricky. Also, it weighs 40 pounds without water, so don’t add water til you get it outside and are ready to go. 5. I used clear postal tape to strap the top to the reservoir to keep it secure while moving it out of the house. 6. The cord is about 6’ long but runs the length of the base, leaving 3-4’. Plan accordingly. I placed my unit in front of a window so I could snake the cord under the window and plug it in inside (used an extension cord). 7. I added 2 copper disks to reduce algae build-up..
