I was very apprehensive about purchasing a bed online because it’s hard to know what you’re actually getting without seeing it in person. I’m happy to report that this king bed exceeded my expectations! The bed is made of real wood, which was important to me, and it feels incredibly sturdy. My husband assembled it in a couple of hours without any major issues. Once put together, there was absolutely no wobbling or creaking—it feels very solid and well-made. I did purchase a 2-inch box spring to provide additional support for our 14-inch mattress. Even with the box spring, there is still plenty of headboard visible, and the overall look is beautiful. The frame comes with four support slats, and each slat has two legs that extend to the floor for added stability and support. I was initially worried that the quality might be lacking or that the bed would feel rickety, but neither of those concerns turned out to be true. The craftsmanship appears to be very good, the bed is sturdy, and it looks fantastic in our bedroom. I would absolutely purchase this bed again and would confidently recommend it to others. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. Overall I would say this bed frame is a good purchase; High quality solid wood construction, sturdy hardware , and the honey finish is beautiful. That said it’s worth noting that the size of the bed frame in the listing is not accurate. We bought this frame specifically to fit a twin bed sized small niche that is set into the wall of my son’s bedroom. According to the listing this bed should have fit perfectly. It is actually almost an inch wider than the specifications say measuring just over 77 inches wide . This detail might not be a challenge for most buyers but I feel like it should be changed in the listing for accuracy. Also , it’s worth noting that the finish is not incredibly durable and does scratch easily. In the building process the drawers got a few scratches just from being face down on our hardwood flooring . Not a deal breaker but be careful when building to protect the finish.. Laura. We were looking for a simple storage bed without a headboard and this has worked out wonderfully! The drawers look small but hold all of our bed linens — sheets, extra comforters, and blankets. I can’t speak to how the assembly process was because we had the service do it, but it has been perfect for our needs. It looks great in our room and feels very stable. We also use a bunkie board underneath our mattress because we have a sleep number mattress and we wanted the extra support beyond the slats (spaced too far apart for a sleep number mattress). Assembly was easy with slight adjustment to bed rail bolts. Only suggestion would be to drill small pilot holes for inner bed supports. I am very happy with this bed so far! We paid to have it built and honestly, worth every penny! We really love this bed. The only thing that I wish were different is the built in storage.
