I've had this rug for over a year with no issues. It has texture without having big knots or loops. I like jute and sisal but not the smell or the shedding, so wool it is. I am super picky about my rugs. This rug arrived undamaged, with barely a scent and laid flat right away. It does not shed. I love that the edges are finished well, not serged which could fuzz or unravel. Easy to vacuum. It's very thick and soft underfoot, no rug pad. I have the 8x10 under a king bed in my guest room. I ordered the blue color (forgot what it was called at the time. Denim?) which is now called color 8? I absolutely HATE that Wayfair will no longer commit to naming its colors, heaven forbid the customers insist the rug that arrived doesn't match the color name or a photo we can barely see. Impossible to have faith in this company when it comes to rugs now. I was thinking of ordering the same rug in 9x12 for my family room but now I don't trust the color "8". Mine arrived more dominant in ivory with very narrow lines of blue, which was even better for me. It really lightened the room. But if you are looking for dominant blue from afar, this is not it. Beautiful rug and super thick! I got the 9 x 12 rug and it SHEDS! I read that in reviews, but I guess I didn’t understand the grasp of what that meant, I vacuumed this rug four times and still could vacuum more lol. The carpet fibers also stuck to my brand new vacuum so that was fun cutting out! For the price of the rug, I would expect less shedding. It is a great rug though, and it does not need a rug pad whatsoever because of how thick it is and it vacuums great. Just sheds a lot at first (hopefully!). Also, it measured 4 inches short of being 12 foot so Wayfair gave me a 25 discount which was great! Highly recommend using their customer service if your rug measurements are off.. Anonymous. I just don’t understand the reviews about it shedding too much. I ran over it twice with my vacuum after un-rolling it and really have had no issues. I just vacuum over it any time I vacuum my floors. A wool rug does require at least some minimal effort when you first get it. If you’re someone who doesn’t regularly vacuum maybe a wool rug in general just isn’t for you Basically, don’t listen to the reviews about people having to return it because it sheds too much..
