I purchased the 7" green metal posts to fence off some bushes from the deer. The posts are of a sturdy metal and well made. The soil I have has the consistency of sand and dirt, so the posts slide into the dirt easily. The posts come with an instruction booklet, nuts, bolts, metal hooks and zip ties. This post was so easy to use. The holes were spaced just right for the companion mailbox and it was very easy to install with quick-setting concrete. For extra stability, I drove 3 rebar stakes into the ground, poured a bit of concrete over them, then placed the post snuggly over the stakes and added the remaining concrete. they are sturdy once you have the dirt in them, but seem a bit flimsy when empty. Be careful filling them, as I had my neighbor help me fill with his john deer and we had to go very slowly and level the dirt in layers so it didnt warp the shape.
