A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. I needed a ceiling fan for my screened-in porch. I didn't want to break the bank, so I waited for this to go on sale. Good quality, but not $875. (original price) worth of quality. I worried about the weight of the blades because it says "solid wood." I'm not sure that is the case, but then again, I'm not a carpenter. The blades are actually pretty.
