I've thrown it into the washer and dryer ( on a low setting) and no shrinkage or change in texture. I also feel that since my bed is a queen I would have liked this duvet to be a little bit larger for more of an overhang, I should have ordered a king size just for the extra overhang.. It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it. The print is beautiful, I am unsure if it is navy blue or black, different lighting gives me a different tone but I like both. A design that I have never seen is a cover over the button holes, as shown in the picture. That adds quality to this set.
