At 3.25ft X 3.25ft x 8" it takes up a chunk of space on our smallish 10' X 10' deck, and looks kind of clunky. - After assembly it's just over 8ft tall plus the 8" base, which is taller than our porch eave. (We thought "height adjustable" included the pole, but it's just the umbrella itself that you can adjust up and down.) So at first we didn't think the umbrella would fit. But we turned it around to face a different direction and think it will work after all. This is a quality umbrella, very strong. It takes two people to put together for sure because it’s heavy. I would say the directions should have explanations instead of just pictures.
