The table is absolutely perfect for a small dining room and the extender leaves at each end make it very accommodating for extra dinner guests. but, there's one complaint...an average size dining chair cannot fit between the space of the bases. therefore the side chairs stick out from the table taking up extra space on the sides of the table. You can not determine this unless you try to actually push the chairs under the table. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! This was not mentioned in any of the reviews! so, i'm stuck with a table and chairs that don't fit under the table on all sides. Still looking for the perfect chairs to go with it, but loving the table so far. It is very heavy, and ships in a wood crate. It feels and looks premium. The sliding action of the extensions feels smooth. It definitely requires some strength to assemble, and multiple people to flip it, but the only thing we had to do was attach the legs to the top.
