We bought this 9 piece dining set for our new house. I like that it is small with 4 chairs when not expanded and can seat 8 when we have guests. It’s easy to expand and we like that the leaf is part of the table and we don’t need to find space to store it. It’s quite heavy and sturdy. I love the finish to look at but it does scratch easily. We use our bar stools for about every meal, so it doesn’t get a lot of use. I don’t think I’d recommend it to a young family as a main table though unless you view inevitable scratches and blemishes as character! It works for our situation though.. Deborah. Cincinnati, OH.
