This bookshelf is really cute in person. I got the light blue color, and it would be perfect for a nursery, playroom, or child's bedroom. When I opened the box and saw all the pieces, I briefly questioned my life choices. There are quite a few parts, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was able to put it together by myself in under an hour. The included screwdriver was a nice touch. The Allen wrench got the job done, but my fingers were definitely feeling it by the end of assembly. A few of the holes didn't line up perfectly, and I ended up with a very small gap in one spot. Once everything was assembled, though, it wasn't noticeable unless I was specifically looking for it. There are also a few visible screws on the undersides of the shelves, but that seems pretty standard for furniture like this and doesn't affect the overall appearance. One thing I would recommend is using the included wall anchor. The bookshelf is fairly tall and clearly designed for a child's room. It feels sturdy, but kids are creative, and I'd rather be safe than sorry. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
