This is beautiful for the space in the bedroom. It is 59” across and the mantle is 64”. It was extremely easy to assemble. The screws for attaching the firebox are easy self drilling screws, so don’t have pre- drilled holes. As others said, it is top heavy and wants to fall forward. A bottom shelf inside horizontally might fix the instability. Company should work to improve this design flaw. I found a door wedge on both sides secures it in place. Will probably exchange to clear ones. I didn’t want it secured to the wall yet with the enclosed anti-topple devise so I can change the room around. Definitely needs securing in place though. For permanence, I would use inconspicuous L brackets. The bigger Real Flame Alcott 75” is stable having a bottom to it. Yes this is my second Real Flame purchase! Caulking the crevices gives it the carpenter complete built in look. Did not get it for the heat, just the flame aesthetic. I do use the timer feature. Thais entertainmentbook shelf unit came in 4 huge heavy boxes. Thank goodness my husband had help from my visiting daughter otherwise we would have never gotten them in the house. Hubby opened the first box, hoping to find directions and hardware. We finally found them in box 3. If you like hardware, you will love putting this unit together. My husband discovers all boxes have pieces that go with each aspect of the unit so we would not have room in our living room for assembly. While moving box one down the stairs leading into the garage, my husband pulled his back out. The box landed safely. My daughter and I managed to get to the kitchen. Arrived quicker than anticipated and comes in two boxes. One holds the pieces to the fireplace and mantle, the other the firebox. Assembly is definitely a two person job. We had several issues and this took the better part of an afternoon despite the problems. We received one panel that was missing two cam bolt inserts. Luckily we have a fantastic locally owned hardware store that was able to manufacture pieces that would work. Otherwise, this entire piece would have had to have been sent back. We were thankful the manufacturer included extra hardware as we had one cam lock break during installation. We do have one obvious gap in the marble tiles that we believe can be fixed with a little caulk. The fire place has several different color settings and somehow does look like a legitimate flame. The addition of the crystals gives the appearance of a high end gas fireplace. The heater works well, is akin to a blower on a fireplace and helps with the true fireplace feel. This TV stand is beautiful once assembled. Our TV is 80 inches, so you can see how it looks under a larger TV. There are many pieces, so I recommend hiring someone to assemble it. A professional built ours in about 45 minutes, which saved a lot of time and frustration. The wood quality feels a bit cheap for the price and looks somewhat flimsy when first taken out of the box. However, once assembled it looks great and fits nicely in the space. Overall, I’m happy with how it looks. It’s a stylish piece, just not the highest quality material for the price.. Anonymous.
