We are so happy with this duvet cover. The color is a pure white, which is perfect for what we were looking for. The material is very soft yet sturdy enough to give a beautiful finished appearance to the bed. No pulls or wrinkles. It very easily ties to the duvet insert which also makes it easy to remove. I've thrown it into the washer and dryer ( on a low setting) and no shrinkage or change in texture. I also ordered a queen size for a full size bed because I enjoy the appearance of the extra draping on either side of the bed. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it. The comforter looks like the photo. It is very pretty. It is a little thinner than I thought it would be. I did wash it before using, gentle cycle. Some reviews said that it fell apart after washing, it did NOT do that, it was just fine. The material is not soft though. It is a little “crispy” feeling, but that may soften up in time. The duvet cover is a very pretty wheat color with matching wooden buttons that really makes the set look really organic and beautiful. The duvet feels somewhat heavy on its own but that is just me because I use duvets without the inserts because I am a very hot sleeper even in the winter time. The duvet without the insert looks just fine for me and I'm hoping it's not too heavy but since I live in the north I think it'll be just right. I also feel that since my bed is a queen I would have liked this duvet to be a little bit larger for more of an overhang, I should have ordered a king size just for the extra overhang.. Really beautiful duvet cover set that I wanted to love. I want to emphasize how lovely the cotton fabric was on this. However it refused to stay attached to my comforter regardless of how tight I tied the knots for anchoring and it ended up getting taken off the bed because it was so frustrating.
