I purchased the Bridget Hall Tree in Dark Cherry and Im very happy with it overall. Assembly is definitely the biggest challenge, but it just takes patience. As long as you pay close attention to the instructions and take your time, its very doable. Everything arrived extremely well packaged, and all the pieces were in great condition. Once assembled, the hall tree feels sturdy and looks beautiful. The included baskets complement the dark cherry finish perfectly and really complete the look. One thing to keep in mind is that the finish seems like it could scratch fairly easily. If you plan to use the baskets often, Id recommend removing them carefully to avoid rubbing against the wood. Because of that, I think this piece is best suited as a decorative entryway organizer rather than something that will get heavy, rough daily use. Overall, its a beautiful piece of furniture, and Ive had a lot of fun decorating it for the seasons. It adds a warm, elegant touch to my entryway, and Im very pleased with my purchase. Love this bench! It was quite an ordeal to put together but it finally all fit the way it was intended. I would however have put the handles and drawer pulls on before hanging the doors or building the drawers. I am disappointed in the cushion as it is very hard and the off-white is not that pretty with the white wood. The cushion cover is not very snug either. I plan to make a new cover to match my furnishings, so that will solve that problem. Absolutely gorgeous!!! Just the right piece to finish up my son’s new bedroom spread. My son loves the new Jurassic World movies and theme and the new Mandelorian movie and series. Very spacious inside - surprised me because I was actually going for the bigger one and decided for the smaller one at the last minute due to space constraints. I don’t regret it though because it fits perfectly with the rest of the furniture. Decided to leave the plastic on the top just for protection but I’m sure it will not need it. Exactly what I needed in terms of size and color. Easy assembly and sturdy. Other reviews mentioned the inside base board is flimsy… it’s definitely not the same thickness as the external structure, but I think it would do the trick for most items. They say this product is solid wood when it definitely is not. It is made of cheap particle board. The parts were numbered incorrectly. It says that it is for shoe storage but can only fit one pair of small shoes per drawer. It says that it seats two but it definitely cannot support the weight. This is one beautiful piece of furniture. It’s high quality and as exactly as described…. I love the modern farmhouse look and this worked perfectly in our space. I have seen a couple of reviews about the color. This is true to the image posted but will add that the lighting can also cause variations in light from cool to warm. I love both!! My husband and I downsized so the extra storage was a bonus. I have six sets of king size sheets and 4 throws, two small pillows and space for a little more. The white cushion is very attractive I did however add some scotch guard to help keep dust and stains at stray. I think a damp white cloth could be used. It’s comfortable to sit on and the width and height are perfect for both my husband and I. I am 5’8 and he is 6’2 so this was another thing that attracted us to this bench. It has some weight to it which we prefer. Assembly was a breeze due to only having to add the feet.. The cushion has a strap to hold the cushion on when you open the bench.Easyto put together and was delivered quickly. The only thing I thought could be better was the faux leather strap to open /close the lid. It doesn’t fit properly through the wicker and lies kind of funky. I may remove it.. April.
