The main components fit well, but the hardware that connects the sections relies on a long connector that doesn’t feel very substantial. I was pleasantly surprised by this sofa. The fabric is much softer than I expected, and the color is exactly what I was hoping for. It has a modern, low-profile design, but the seat height is still comfortable enough to get in and out of easily. It’s firm without feeling stiff and looks much more expensive than it is. My only complaint is the way the sections connect during assembly. The back and base pieces slide together nicely, but the connectors that hold the individual sections together don’t feel especially secure. I worry that if we ever lift the sofa to move it, the sections could come apart. Once it’s in place it’s been fine, but I wish that part of the design felt more solid. The cushions are not smooth but I could have done a more meticulous job of pushing the inserts inside the cover. I assembled it alone and while it was a bit tricky to assemble the back, I managed it with some books for support. I gave it 4 stars because the box arrived severely damaged and had evidently been overstuffed at the origin. As a result, some of the pieces were damaged and / or dirty. Wayfair made it right. I sprayed it with upholstery protector when it was brand new and it did well. No change in color or texture. Delivery was smooth and easy. I really appreciated having it set up for us, even though it's a pretty simple assembly. I paid over $900, which I think might be a little overpriced for the quality. I absolutely LOVE my new couch, however the delivery was not a love. After waiting all day for my piece to arrive, 3 movers got the huge box up to my apartment (I was moving furniture for them to get this box through the entrance to the living room) and after knocking into things, they put the HUGE box down & started to walk out. I said, wait, aren’t you suppose to unpack this HUG box & take it away? Answer, “no it’s just a drop off service. the box is your responsibility!” As a single woman living alone I was so upset! After over an hour just trying to open this HUGE box I was finally able to unload. I wish it was made clearer that the unloading would be my responsibility, I spent a lot to get the couch of my dreams but very unsatisfied with the delivery service that was definitely lacking!
