These Bridgette bar stools are really good quality. Exactly as described. I had read a review that the oatmeal color was more gray, I don’t agree as the color is perfect, not gray but not beige either and exactly what I was after. Bought these in "Cream" for my new kitchen Island. In the pictures, they look cream; unfortunately, they are greige, and quite a dreary/dirty greige at that. I am adding photos, and one with a piece of cream fabric on the seat for reference. Wayfair is asking me to pay $35 for return shipping, which is surprising and quite disappointing. I don't think they should advertise a product color as "cream " when it is a dingy grey/beige. I have bought many things from Wayfair, and until now, I have found the company to be very fair and honest with their returns and customer service. They felt like friends and allies in the home furnishings world. I am really quite sad that their standards are dropping. Too bad. I put one chair together anyway to see if I could live with the color. The chair itself is easy to put together, and surprisingly sturdy, even given its quite streamlined appearance (which attracted me to it). It's even fairly comfortable. The mechanism for raising and lowering the seat is a bit sticky, but I got the hang of it quickly. The swivel works well. I think these chairs are an incredible value at the price. But the color is way off. So I would say if you're sure of the color, they are a fabulous buy for the money. They look cool and serve their purpose well, just don't buy the "Cream" ones if you have white in your kitchen. They just look grubby! Maybe I should exchange them for the orange?!! Update: After a lot of back-and-forth with Wayfair and the manufacturer, we have resolved this issue, and the manufacturer is sending me a replacement chair in white that is slightly different. The chair is ok. The saddle makes it narrow so unless you are on the smaller side it wont be comfortable. The telescoping part feels spongy as you sit down, so that is a little awkward. The palette is nice so it would go with most decor.. Janeen. New Ulm, MN. Sun Jan 11 2026
