Beautiful terracotta base. A substantial lamp that is full of earthy character. The shade didn't work for me though. Felt too big, and because I have the lamp sitting on a side table in our sunken living room, you could see too much of the inside and the bulb. I realized I needed an empire shade instead of a drum, so I had to spend the extra money to purchase a different shade. But I'm happy with the purchase overall. Note that you can see a "seam" (one on each side) where the potter put the two pieces together I assume. I like it and think it adds to the character, but others may not.. Andrea. Wayfair is a great space and with the help of ChatGPT, we found these lamps. They fit my vibe perfectly. As you can see, it looks exactly as advertised. It took about a half hour to set up, it was more finicky than anything. The instructions are vague but you can do it with some thought. After they were put together, they just looked so great and provided the exact right lighting I wanted, I want to leave them on all the time.
