I have been looking for a dining room light that felt right for my craftsman home for some time, without being the typical craftsman design. This light ticked all the boxes. I was a little hesitant to get this island pendant before finishing the renovations on our house, you can see from the pics we're in a bit of construction disarray! This pendant light/chandelier is much higher quality than I imagined it to be. The glass is very heavy and fancy. I chose to use a warm light bulb, and I did install a dimmer switch for it. We love that it’s compatible with a dimmer switch! It gives my room, perfect ambience, no matter what time of day.
