The powder coating is flawless and appears to have been applied with intention. It comes with easy to follow instructions, and almost everything you need is included, minus a few tools/supplies and a "would like to have." There are two ways to mount the light fixture, on a flat surface (template included) or a 3" round pole. I would have liked to have seen an included gasket for the base for either the round pole or the flat surface to help prevent moisture from getting in underneath, which is why I went with 4 stars. I ordered the pole with this lantern and I love it. It does not come with a bulb. I suggest using an aquarium type long skinny bulb. It looks great. Again make sure your pole has the mounting kit as I had to pay my electrician to come back after I had to order the kit.
