Both my partner and I sat on the bench while it was fully extended and it was very study. Although it was packaged pretty well, my item still came damaged on the bottom. Actually ordered these on two separate occasions, one with the original 4 that I ordered, and another set of 2... several years later to replace two that were worn out.
