I was trying to find something for the office and came across this item. I do think this is a nice unit,not sure if it's actually worth the price I paid. It was packaged well for delivery, but I did notice a couple of scratches that probably happened at the company. It wasn't too noticeable and that side actually faces my wall. Exactly what I wanted for a wall that separates a kitchen from a living area. Additionally, I needed to access the electrical outlets below so I ordered four accent cabinets and I couldn't be happier with the fit. Two inches on either end, these four units replaced a massive display cabinet and a tall display case and provided a lot more room for storage. Very easy to put together, each cabinet came with extra screws, fittings etc. that I can actually put together a fifth unit if I needed it. Adjustable shelves inside allow for lots of different sized items to store. Love the clean lines and it has a nice MCM look to it and blends nicely with a few of my antique pieces. I selected the color "White Alder" and really like the look. These four pieces make it very easy for me to pull out when I need to access the electrical outlets behind and still have the look of being one solid piece. For pre-fab, ready to assemble, furniture, these cabinets are affordable and have a great look to them. My only issue is that the doors don't always hang cleanly across. I've adjusted them as instructed, in the easy to read directions, but not all doors hang evenly, however, this is something I can live with. We really liked the look of this tall rattan cabinet right away. It has a nice aesthetic and fits well with our space, and overall it wasn’t too difficult to put together compared to some other furniture we’ve assembled. The biggest challenge during assembly was getting the doors properly aligned. That part took the most time and patience, but once adjusted, it looked good and functioned as expected. The main downside for us is the drawer design. They don’t pull out very far, which makes them less practical than we hoped. Reaching items toward the back is a bit of a pain and ends up being the most frustrating part of using it day to day. OK..Well I went back and forth with cabinets...Studied them all for days, and tried to remove the ones I found that were metal. I purchased two of these cabinets and was pleasantly surprised by how easy they were to assemble. I put both together myself without any issues, and the instructions were straightforward. The quality is good—not necessarily high-end—but for the price I paid, I think they offer excellent value.
