The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. Very nice and soft for the puppy. My puppy enjoys it very much while I feel secure that she is strapped in and safe. The front is not built up as high as in the original picture of the item but it still works well.
