I especially love the warm brass finish—it feels timeless and high-end. One thing to note is that with six exposed bulbs, it can be quite bright. We installed ours on a dimmer switch and used 2400K warm white bulbs, which created the perfect soft, cozy glow. I would definitely recommend doing the same if you prefer warmer lighting. This light really wasn't hard to assemble; the directions are clear and there is an informative video on You Tube with a person demonstrating the assembly. But I had trouble keeping all the arms straight. I somehow crossed a couple and had to take off the nuts and try again. If you are assembling this one by yourself, you might consider taking a piece of tape and numbering the hole and a corresponding number on each arm of the light fixture. Matching the numbers will make things go quickly and accurately. I love this chandelier because it is dressy but not too formal. This was more than what I wanted to spend on a light, but WOW does it command the space and make it all worth it. We have a kitchen - living - dining combo and the 5-ft-long light holds court over the area. The picture shows it at full lumens but you can dim it down quite a bit. I purchased this for my bedroom and used it instead of a ceiling fan, it looks fantastic and gives the room a real high-end appearance. The chandelier was everything I expected. The only comment I would make is if they would have additional size incremental rods. I would have liked to lower it two or 3 inches but the rods only came in one size which was over 9 inches.. John.
