Our TV cabinet arrived quickly and was packaged very securely. It comes in two boxes and it is very heavy, so you might need two people to carry it in. The instructions were good and all the pieces were there, which isn't always the case, so very happy with that. It is not an easy assembly, but there are moving parts and a lot of smaller pieces, so that's not a surprise. At one point we needed two people to stabilize a section while tightening some screws, but for the most part, it's a one person job taking maybe 3-4 hours if you're not experienced. The look is nice. We got the light oak color and it's a little lighter than I expected, but looks good. The most important part is that it works perfectly. We haven't installed the TV yet, but the remote works and it slides up and down effortlessly. The only slight minus is that the remote has no instructions or directions. It took about two hours to put together, but it was very doable and easy to follow the directions. They even included a screwdriver. There was one screw piece on a leg that unfortunately was broken but nothing some liquid nails couldn’t fix. It looks great and seems like it will hold up well. This media console is just the perfect addition to my living room. I chose the whitebrown so it goes with everything including the kitchen table that I got in the same colors. I had somebody put it together for me and it took him about an hour and a half. Even though the fire is artificial, it casts a nice warming, comforting glow and has sounds to go with it. I love it! I think it is definitely a piece that requires two people to assemble. I did it by myself and it was quite the feat, taking 3-4 hours. I think if I had another set of hands, it would have been a much quicker process.
