I love my new blue bookshelf. I put it together myself and did a little at a time over the course of about 3 days. Some of that included making space for it in my reading room. I love it! It’s very well made, the assembly instructions are great and it only took my husband about three hours to assemble it. I love the textured laminate since it will be easy to dust. The drawers are a bit “shifty” from side to side, but very sturdy. I use the top for my collection of "chicken pitchers" and the shelf for cookbooks, etc. and the drawers for kitchen linens. the bookcase is great. the color is slightly off from the pictures but i expected that based on reviews and it matches my other furniture as a result. maybe have more ergonomic philips head screwdriver ready because the one it comes with hurt my palm quite a bit. only complaint is the mechanism to keep the bookshelf from tilting was confusing. im just going to get a different earthquake strap.. The touch feeling is smooth, and it will be stain-resistant, just wipe with wet cloth could take good care of it.

I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper.
