I really like it! I had my doubts as we were taking it out of the box. I thought it looked too big. And too white. But now surrounded by chairs and the couch, it's perfect. It's really cute and the shabby chic distressed-look is just right. You may get splinters a bit however along the edges. So if you're looking for upscale and formal, this may not work for you. This is a beautiful coffee table that appears to be real wood - it's heavy but doesn't weigh a ton like manufactured wood. I think the finish is darker brown and not as red as the photo which is fine for me. The deep drawers are wonderful and can be opened from either side - no more baskets sitting around with my lip balm, remote, tissues, scissors, etc. Also the drawer bases have thick plastic strips for smooth opening and closing..
