I love the table for the price. The quality looks good. The white glove special delivery was suburb! The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is because of the last picture shown. This is the top of the table. The description with the pictures on the website looked like it was a smooth top. It is not. These lines are in the center of the table and around the edge of the top about 3" from the ends all away around. Overall a good value to seat 8. Even though I bought the 10 person version, it would be VERY tight to fit 10 adults at the table comfortably. MDF top seems solid but the "wood veneer" seems like its just contact paper. We bought a clear cover immediately as I don't see that type of simulated wood holding up long term. Metal frame construction as well as metal chair legs is excellent and definitely feels solid and is the best part about this set. Given the costs difference between this and others, its definitely a trade off of quality vs price. We were using a temporary folding table so this is a thousand times better, but if you want something that will take a beating, may want to look at another set. Overall I am happy!. Derek. Very nice table. Have gotten many compliments. My dog already scratched it but he is very big so I don’t think it gets easily scratched. It is very easy to extend on one side. The other side needs a little more force. The table wasn’t bad putting together but the chairs were a little more challenging. Couldn’t find the instructions in the first 3 boxes of chairs, had to go digging. Will need power screwdriver for some of the screws. The chairs are very comfortable. Ok let's talk chairs! When using in a rental upholstery is a nightmare and solid would is so heavy. I wanted something with cushion, not bulky, easy to wipe off and would fit and move nicely in and out around the table. These are the chairs you want!
