Best Bird Baths With Reviews

I LOVE this birdbath... so much so that I bought a second one for the front of our home and one for my sister in Oregon. Aesthetically this had me at "hello!" It has an old-world sense about it... the color is perfect.. it is lightweight and easily placed into taller gardens where the birds and pollinators can access/enjoy. Easily moved to other areas of the property and blends beautifully into the landscape adding an artistic nod. It can be a challenge to get it on level ground with the 3 legs unless you have a level patio you are putting it on. In the garden, I have to work a bit to find the perfect spot (yes! I like level! :) I have had many birdbaths over the years, including those with a fountain... it was always a challenge to keep them clean or move them depending on the material they were made from.. some had even broken due to wind and weight... so great to have something unique, beautiful and easily moved and maintained.

I'm in love with this birdbath! The color is a deep red, very beautiful, and it is well constructed. The bowl is very deep so, you may want to consider adding some river rock over to one side or the other to prevent small birds, small creatures like lizards OR even bees from drowning in the water. Also, I wanted to make a point regarding the weight of this birdbath...it clearly states that in order to add weight to the birdbath, you should add gravel OR sand Or you could even add dirt to the base. I'm only pointing his out because I noticed that some of the people who left reviews for this item were complaining about the weight/not being heavy enough/top heavy, but adding weight to the base completely alleviates the weight issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty bird bath and looks good in the garden. The glass bowl is easy to remove and clean. The stand is extremely easy to set up and to store - just unfold and adjust the wing nuts. The glass bowl itself feels sturdy. The glass bowl perched on the stand does not feel that sturdy. I tried to set the legs into the mulch and put some large stones around the base. We get some pretty windy days here and I am not confident that the bowl won’t blow off. I would have liked to have a part of the interior raised a bit for smaller birds. I also would have liked a way to secure the stand to the glass bowl.

It's really nice. We have a big pond about 250' from our house (our other bird bath), but I wanted a regular size one for the front area on the other side. Something that's in the sun all day. With our little solar fountain going it looks fantastic! I did need to put a few tumbled stones in the middle of the bath bc of it's depth. Not too many, but if I left the fountain to just sail around in the wind, I'd be constantly having to refill the bath as the fountain would be watering the grass as it went sailing to the edges. Lol I like the edges on the bath. They give the birds something to grip if they're only drinking. Recommended. ◉‿◉

This birdbath is made from natural RESIN and not brittle synthetic plastic. The birdbath is lightweight as expected but the resin parts are nice and thick and or sturdy where needed. Secondly, it is quite easy to assemble as I simply used the birdbath picture. Not much hardware as several pieces either screw together or simply insert. The included instructions can help for sure and I did peek once. The fit and finish is trouble free and impressive. Finally, the birdbath base needs weight to keep the birdbath from falling over outside. I simply buried the unnecessary planter base in the ground. The included stakes won’t help much and larger stakes could damage the base in stronger wind. Bigger heavy rocks could work but then you won’t see the base anyway. I suppose you could bolt the base to a heavier larger diameter base and hide that add-on with soil, mulch, or stones. That’s a lot of work for exposing the planter base but pretty clever. My summary is that this is a fairly large birdbath with good detail minus the minor gold surface accents. This does not negate the overall excellent design, especially in this modest price range. This is a maintenance-free, impressive birdbath that is budget friendly with excellent visual impact. Hope this helps you decide

Wow! Easy to put together, well made sturdy piece that looks like metal from far away! I can't believe the price was so reasonable for this nice piece. It even includes stakes to put in at the bottom into the dirt below to hold it down in windy times - a definite accent to my garden, which is full of birds! Can't wait to see them in it enjoying a bath!

To my surprise, the "bowl" is not round--it is oblong--making it difficult to use a fountain in this birdbath. And it's a tad smaller and shorter than my other birdbaths--I need to pay closer attention to the measurements provided. :) I managed to break one of the 2 birds that fasten with nubs that push through holes in the rim of the birdbath. The 2nd gluing has held up so far. The birdbath does not get as much usage as the neighboring ones--either due to the smaller, oblong shape, or perhaps the 2 decorative birds scare the real ones away. Haven't come to a conclusion yet. But it is a lovely birdbath.

I bought this for my daughter as a present and it soon became the highlight of our rock garden. We have gotten sooo many compliments on this fountain. The sound of the water flowing has such a calming effect on anyone sitting nearby. We change items in the garden often, but this stays a staple until winter comes and we have to bring it in and we then use the stand we created for our outdoor Christmas tree or whatever else we buy that withstands the colder weather. Something I didn't really anticipate was the entertainment when different birds come down and get a drink every now and then. The detail is amazing on this beautiful fountain. It certainly makes our patio stone garden a bit more classy with this in the middle of it. This was worth every penny I spent on it. My daughter had it up and running within a few hours and that was with her creating a small flat stand for leveling it in the rock garden so the water would flow flawlessly.

I've been searching for the right bird bath for over a year. I had planned on getting a concrete one, but really didn't want to deal with something that heavy. Also, most of the non-concrete ones haven't excited me. When I saw this, it was a perfect non-concrete option. I was also worried that a non-concrete one wasn't going to be heavy/stable enough, but this one is a great happy medium - not to heavy, not too light. It's the perfect depth (for them to both drink and bathe), and the material is not too slippery or too rough. It's just lovely!

First, it’s beautiful. I love the bright colors and the big lady bug. I’m a little disappointed in the weight as it’s rather light. I’m also a tad disappointed in the size as it’s not very big. I did purchase this KNOWING it has reviews about it being light and I knew the measurements so I did know it was small. I bought this for a small garden we have planted in memory of our daughter and I wanted a big yellow flower fountain or bird bath. Because I needed it to be a yellow flower this was by far the best one I found. I am happy with it overall.

The bird bath is exactly what I expected. It was a replacement for one I purchased last year, but it got broken. The store that I originally purchased it from for $49,99, no longer sells it. So I purchased the exact replacement from you. I like that you offer free shipping but I don't believe it's true free shipping as I paid $86,99 on sale, for the same product that I previously paid $49,99 for. So I believe you Jack up the prices significantly and then say free shipping....which of course it is not. The product is nice though.

I like this birdbath not only because it looks great but because it is metal. Metal seems to make more sense especially if temps get low and the water freezes. There's less chance of it breaking (unlike my faux-ish concrete birdbath). The sun seems to help warm up the water more quickly in the metal, so I'm seeing birds getting some water as it is unfreezing. It's not too heavy, so I can easily tip it over to clean it or move it. The top can unscrew off the base if needed. And it's heavy enough: My biggest squirrels have taken a drink, and it hasn't tipped over. I'm as happy with this purchase as my birds and squirrels. Note: I'm writing this in March in New England (while water is still freezing), and I've had this birdbath for a few weeks now. I'm unsure how it will do in snow and even colder temps, but I'm hoping I can keep it out year-round.

I've wanted to get a bird bath for my yard for a while, and when I saw this one decided to get it. It comes in 3 pieces so was easy to put together. You can unscrew the bowl part on top and take it inside for cleaning. It looks really pretty, and love the colors! The only problem I see is that the hard water deposits start showing up fast and I think it may be hard to keep looking nice. It's also not quite straight, so it leans slightly to one side. Over all I'm really happy with it though, and hope the birds enjoy their new bath!

Well made but so so so small. Holds just a little water. I thought it was larger. I have to fill it every day, sometimes twice. I have a little solar fountain in it and my dog is certain it’s his personal outdoor water bowl (altho he has one meant for a dog - not a bird). I will keep it and enjoy.

I bought this for my indoor Blue and Gold Macaw. He is older and has arthritis in his feet and falls a bit now. All perches have been moved to the floor and he insists on climbing the walls any way. This was just too plastic for this guy. I wired it to the cage and put seed in it for him to rub his beak in and flip it around. His favorite game. I liked the holes on the rim, thinking he could hold on easier and hopefully not fall out of. He hung on it. Then got caught and couldn't pull himself up to get out. I had to take it outside. I was worried he would get hurt, but for a couple days he had fun breaking the edges. That beak is still strong. The plastic is too sharp.

beautiful!!! easy to assemble and install in the ground thanks to a 3-prong construction. wayfair did great on this item for me: the first one came with a defect not allowing to screw the metal parts of the stand together; when I emailed them about it asking a replacement for the lower part of the stand, they simply ordered another item for me without me returning the whole item or a defective part! which was great from wayfair and very accommodating (since without that lower part, the item can not be installed, would be very short and close to the ground). thank you, wayfair, great customer service!!!

The birdbath is sturdy and should not break if knocked over. It is light in weight so I may need to put sand inside the stand as some people have suggested. It looks great in my flower bed. It is replacing a ceramic birdbath that fell over and broke. I purchased the blue birdbath and like the color.

Very pretty birdbath. The color is lovely and it appears to be well constructed. It arrived quickly and in perfect shape. My only disappointment is that the instructions say to bring in the birdbath if the temperature drops below 32 degrees. That is very inconvenient. I like to leave water in a birdbath in the winter, but it appears that I will need to store this birdbath during colder temperatures or risk it cracking or breaking. Nothing was mentioned about this in the ad, so I didn't think about it. I guess I assumed a birdbath was an all weather object because most people I know feed and water wild birds all year and do not bring in their bird baths, at least not in the area where I live. We do not get a great deal of freezing weather, maybe two or three times a winter season, but even so this is an inconvenience, and had I know this I would not have ordered the birdbath. It's lovely, though, and I will enjoy using it in spring, summer, and fall. It won't be easy to store in the winter and will take up a great deal of our limited storage space, so I may not use it very long. I'm disappointed, but I should have known that a ceramic birdbath would not hold up in very cold weather, I suppose, but I've left ceramic pots out all year, so I'm a little puzzled about this. I won't send it back, however, because I love it.

I was so excited when I received my Alpine BirdBath to add to my yard decorations but also for my wild birds to have something to dunk their head into for a drink or to just cool off. The Alpine BirdBath was very simple to put together. It literally took minutes to assemble and have it filled with water. The bird bath is plastic but a sturdy plastic that will hold up in any weather. The bath comes with two forks to put on the bottom of the bath to hold it to the ground as well. I love the color they painted it its a green with silver tones making it look antique like even down to the designs on the leg which has beautiful leaf and swirl designs. The flower on top with the birds is a cute design to add to the beauty (it does not hold water: learn from my mistake). The bath is not a fountain it is a bath so you do have to refill it often. I have my bird feeder by it and the birds love to come get a snack and take a dunk or get a drink. I love the functionality of the birdbath and the beauty. The birdbath is a fun and in my opinion would be a beautiful addition to any backyard!

We have a certified NWF backyard habitat, which means we provide food, water, nesting boxes, etc, for all the animals that inhabit or pass through our acreage. In addition to a watering hole and man made wildlife stream for the deer, squirrels, bobcats, raptors, etc, I needed a practical way way to provide water for the song birds as well, so this bird bath was the perfect choice. It arrived quickly and well packaged. The bath was very easy to install. The basin part slides into place and can be quickly removed to clean...it looks like a one piece bird bath when it’s put in place. It’s solid enough to withstand the torrential rain and winds that blow through our canyon. I read that it may crack in freezing conditions, but that’s not something we worry about very often in SF Bay Area. I ordered it in Summer Blue, which has a deep, rich organic glaze that compliments the surrounding rosemary bushes. Like all of my Birds Choice products, this bird bath is well-made in the USA. I highlight recommend it.
