Pretty good. Holes are predrilled but only on outer edges. Be careful when screwing together because it can split very easily. Directions were easy to follow and I didn’t end up missing anything so the frustration level was nice and low. The lights are our favorite touch. We can see them any time we want but they have a nice dark hideout just in case they need it. I don’t think the access to the hideout is a big deal. If you absolutely need to grab one you can pull out the tray some. Our piggies loved their new home and I also love the peace of mind it gives me knowing they aren’t in a wire cage anymore where my dogs could accidentally get too rough and break them out lol I definitely would recommend this cage. Well this is now called the quainsion, since we have three button quail living in this little mansion. It was not difficult to put together. My fiance would have but he was sick so I struggled through it and I can't even nail in a nail straight. Lol he did put some waterproofing on it so it will last longer, and for quail, he put a second latching mechanism so it will be difficult for raccoons to get in. Dimensions are accurate even though the set feels smaller than pictured. A couple drawbacks experienced were that some of the panel pieces came in warped, not bad but enough to deal with. A couple panels were also cracked with small pieces coming off. Overall could use a little design revision, but not a bad setup, just use it somewhere that it can be covered / protected from the elements as it will not survive multiple seasons fully exposed..
