It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! The sink arrived just minutes ago. It was boxed so nicely and therefore nothing is scratched or dented. The sink itself is gorgeous. It comes with a wire rack to put at bottom of sink to protect it. It has a cutting board that can be put on the ledge if the sink. Cut fruit and veggies and then easy to out items in the disposal if you have one. It also has another rack that can sit on the ledge. It could be used to set a hit pot on or as a drying area for washed dishes. Will have to play with that once it is installed. It has a center hole for a faucet with a pull down sprayer. It has a side hole so ya could put a sprayer on the side if ya wanted or use the hole to add a soap dispenser. The side hole is capped so you don’t have to install anything there if ya don’t want to. The finish is gorgeous. It is a huge sink so measure carefully before ordering. Just installed my new sink and it looks amazing! My old sink had two sides and two drains, one with a garbage disposal. This single basin one is so much better. No more food going down the non garbage disposal side. Just a warning- the sink is very heavy. Took two of us to hold it and get into position to mount. I chose the under sink mount. If you do this as well make sure you get some heavy duty under sink mount bars to hold it up. It is heavy! A standard garbage disposal fits fine on it. If you go that route you do not need the included drain assembly. The white looks nice and the included rack for the bottom is a nice feature. Will help protect from dishes dropping in sink.
