The placemats arrived today and they are a gorgeous color, however the placemats have a strong, toxic smell. I am sad because I will need to return these. UPDATED: Wayfair replaced the defective placemats. Not only are these beautiful on the table, they protect nicely. I am very happy and changed the rating from one star to five.
