[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to receive the Peyton shadow box display case, eager to create a beautiful display for my wedding memorabilia. Its large size is a major plus, offering ample space for various items. However, my excitement quickly faded due to several quality issues. First, the pine wood finish disappointed me. I expected a rustic look, but it appeared almost like raw, unfinished wood with a few dings and dents. More concerning was the door, which completely fell apart when I opened it. I checked for missing screws or glue, but found no clear cause. The instructions offered no guidance on assembly or repair, leaving me confused. I managed to slide it back together, and the side latches seem to hold it for now, but I shouldn’t have to worry about the door collapsing upon opening. Additionally, I noticed a film on the plastic that started peeling when the door came apart. The instructions didn’t clarify whether this was meant to be removed, and it wasn’t noticeable when the box was closed. Another issue is an interior strip of wood that’s unstained, clashing with the rest of the finish. While the shadow box has potential, the unit I received feels poorly made. I’m hesitant to trust it with my sentimental items due to these quality concerns. I’m unsure if mine was a one-off, but these issues significantly detracted from the experience.

It's really big it's 11'x14' and it's great for displaying memorabilia such as concert tickets, playbills saved from your favorite opera, or displaying your favorite shirt from your favorite sports team. The quality of it is amazing it's sturdy and has locks on the side to secure your items. I really appreciated the way it came packaged. It was very secure in the box and came with pushpins and hanging tools. You can stand it up or hang out on the wall.

The glass front is clear and scratch-resistant. It blends well with almost any decor, whether it’s hung on a wall or propped on a shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a house of collectible fans, so we always are on the lookout for ways to display our collections in different ways. This Shadow Box Display Case is a fantastic way to display collectibles and various important to you items that you'd like to display. The case comes pre-assembled, which is nice. There was no fuss in having to put anything together. It is made well, with a painted black pine wood case. The door has an acrylic see through window, and two locks on the side that secure it closed. It has everything you need to hang it on your wall, and you hang it with claw hooks like a photo. It didn't seem very stable, so I added a screw to the bottom to keep it from wobbling each time I opened the door. If you plan to take it off the wall each time you add to it, you won't need to do this. The cork inside is really nice, and very easy to push the provided pins into. We used this to display my kid's custom keychain collection in. We will need to get a few more pins as regular pushpins were too long for use in this. The one major issue I found was the door sags and it's difficult closing it, you have to lift the door. It does shut though. It's a lovely case though and I am very happy with it once it's closed.

The latch is easy to use for him. His only gripe is that he wishes the depth was a little higher. Many of the things he wishes to put in there do not fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shadow box is decent for a cheaper made option. I do not like the flimsy plexiglass front. The back is also the thin cardboard nailed together. I would not put any heavy weight items inside this display box.

The latch was strong and made the box look like amazing quality. It really gave it that extra touch needed. It was very easy to put up and change the artwork while on the wall. It’s a definite must purchase for me.
